Palm Springs Car Events.com is a publication of Palm Springs Desktop.com, the first event news calendar for the desert's Internet community. Established in the fall of 2003, Palm Springs Desktop.com was created to provide event information to a growing Internet audience. However, due to the ease, convenience and effectiveness of e-mail forwarding, Palm Springs Desktop.com expanded its coverage to include auto and air events outside the desert cities, necessitating the need for a stand alone auto and air event website.

Palm Springs Car Events.com publishes an e-newsletter like Palm Springs Desktop.com that lists a calendar of information about car shows, cruise nights, air shows, museum exhibitions and seminars relating to cars and aircraft.
